headspace Southern Melbourne (HSM) promotes and facilitates improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australians aged 12-25. HSM has established improved access to services for young people and their families through collaborative partnerships with other local youth service providers.

The HSM Manager provides operational management along with co-ordination and oversight of the services and providers at two headspace sites. The manager also has a key role in developing, liaising and collaborating with other service providers as well as the wider community. Additionally you will actively lead a core team of staff and oversee the day-to-day clinical operation across the sites.

You will have a demonstrated capacity to effectively lead and manage a multi-disciplinary health service along with tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work. Experience in establishing systems and process to effectively manage staff development and performance and to build a vibrant team culture will also be viewed favourably.
