The Role...

An exciting career opportunity is available for an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join its Group Risk division. The focus is to play a pivotal role with regard to product analysis and review and to essentially support the team and senior stakeholders within the firm.

Key duties -

Comprehensive analysis and review of product pricing, business profit / P&L data, plus quality assurance of in-house processes and IT systems.
Provide real time support to the Group Risk Actuary and executive stakeholders.
Ongoing project work, product improvements and actuarial product management.
Competitor performance and product analysis and periodic Group Risk reporting duties.

Background, Skills and Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a Financial or related discipline.
• Qualified or near qualified Actuary (Minimum Associate Level or above)
• 3-4 years practical (and demonstrated) working experience gained from a leading Insurance environment, in particular a track record with Group Risk products.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, advanced IT literacy and quantitative ability.
