We are the premier supplier of niche publications for the tourism and accommodation industry throughout Australia and the South Pacific.
In times when many companies are downsizing due to the GFC we're looking to build on our 45 year history and would like to speak with an Advertising Sales Professional to join our dynamic and experienced sales team.
Responsibilities
- Meet advertising sales budgets using a "consultative" sales approach
- Submit daily sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager
- Frequent monthly travel to build & maintain accounts across Australia
- Meet sales deadlines
- Prepare sales proposals and client prospect analysis reports
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation & relationship building skills developed in a face-paced advertising sales environment
- Proven consultative sales experience in advertising and media sales
- Dynamic presentation ability
- Proven sales track records gained in a "direct" sales environment
- Organisational & Time Management skills essential
- Highly developed written skills with a proficient knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, and the internet
- A tertiary qualification or similar in Advertising, Media, Sales &/or Marketing
- Manual drivers license and own vehicle
