Building & Property Maintenance Projects all have their unique challenges, but this role is just that little bit different. With stringent safety standards, mission critical systems and ongoing upgrades, there is never a dull moment in this interesting project management role.

 

With a variety of ongoing upgrades, maintenance and replacement projects you will be a master of planning for the expected and the not so expected. A self starter you are driven to deliver projects as this will be a role where projects come at you from a variety of disciplines, locations and sources.

 

A proven communicator you are able to liaise with contractors and a wide variety of stakeholders. You are able to clearly demonstrate your project management successes and have learnt from those difficult projects. Organised and methodical you have experience and qualifications in standardised project management, PRINCE2 and/or PMBOK.

 

Projects may be located anywhere within Australia so you will be expected to be on site on a regular (monthly) basis. Ideally you have experience of Facilities Maintenance project management, but any project related experience from the Civil or Building Construction industries will be highly regarded.

 

This is a minimum 12 month contract role where projects can vary from industrial HVAC installations to Generator Set replacements in remote locations and CCTV installations.

 

Ideally you have at least 3 years project management experience but it is your drive and dedication to effective project management that will ensure your success in this role.

 

With over 20 locations nationally, you will be available for travel as well as able to communicate your thoughts and ideas with teams on the ground.

 

You may have experience from infrastructure such as roads and rail projects, defence including defence housing, waste management, utilities, environmental management project, training facilities or site development, and/or commercial construction, including specialist office facilities, retail or industrial. Experience with training, aviation or fire facilities would be highly regarded.
