An immediate opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Rail Signaling Design Engineer to join a market leading consultancy. With an international network of offices, this position gives you the opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects based both in Melbourne and overseas.
Based in a modern CBD office, you will work alongside experienced engineers in a well established rail group.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- concept and detail design of signaling circuits and control tables
- cost estimation
- testing and commissioning of signaling systems
- liaison with various stakeholders
As the ideal candidate you will:
- Be a tertiary qualified engineer
- Have previous experience in the design/checking (and ideally testing) of railway signaling systems
- Excellent communication skills
- An ambition to further develop your career in rail signaling
While not essential, a current IRSE design license would be a definite advantage.
Due to high demand, candidates from an intermediate to senior level will be considered for this role.
