Senior Lecturer/Senior Project Officer Andrology Australia

  • The Opportunity
    A Senior Project Officer (full-time, 36.25 hours per week) is required to assist the Andrology Australia Longitudinal Study Working Group to further scope and identify the opportunities for an innovative nationwide longitudinal study on men's health. The anticipation is that a full proposal will be submitted on behalf of Andrology Australia and Monash University in response to any future commitment and/or call ????? ????? by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

    Reporting to the Andrology Australia CEO, the position will be working closely with members of the Longitudinal Study Working Group to develop a comprehensive research proposal through an iterative process of consultation and negotiation between the Longitudinal Study Working Group, Expert Reference Groups, other research partners and government agencies.

    This position will develop mechanisms to build effective working relationships between government policy-makers and investigators, and to inform study investigators of policy issues of relevance to the study. Once the requisite long-term commitment and financial support is in place, this will be followed by pilot studies to evaluate logistical aspects and assess feasibility of proposed methodologies.

    This position will also provide support to the Andrology Australia administrative team with preparation of material for peer reviewed articles and other reports/publications generated as part of the Andrology Australia education program.

    The Benefits
    Remuneration package: $95,136 - $109,698 pa Level C (includes employer superannuation of 9%)

    This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
