The Opportunity
The School is seeking to make a two-year, full-time, fixed-term appointment to augment its teaching and research profile in the area of International Studies and build its strength in world history. The area of specialisation is open but an interest in world, global and trans-national history since 1500 is essential, as is a capacity to work across disciplines, regions and/or time periods.
The appointee will undertake teaching and research as well as supervising honours and postgraduate students. They will be expected to develop a major research project and apply for research grants.

The Benefits
Remuneration package: $83,363 - $98,994 pa Level B (includes employer superannuation of 17%)
This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
