  • The Opportunity
    The position of Research Data Analyst is a new position within the rapidly growing Australian National Data Service organisation.

    The ANDS Research Data Analyst will be responsible for the development of requirements specifications and client liaison as necessary, to achieve the goals of ANDS. This position will also assist with the implementation of software, policy, workflows and other change management required to make data available to the Australian Research Data Commons. To achieve these outcomes the successful applicant will require excellent knowledge of, and experience in, the area of data management and electronic research. Communication and relationship management skills are a high priority.

    The Australian National Data Service (ANDS), which is funded by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, is a partnership between Monash, ANU and CSIRO. It aims to influence national policy in the area of data management in the Australian research community inform best practice for the curation of data and transform the disparate collections of research data around Australia into a cohesive collection of research resources.

    Remuneration package: $78,423 - $86,567 pa HEW Level 8 (includes employer superannuation of 9%)
