The Opportunity
Work in a leading animal facility with a dedicated team to provide optimal care for animals in a research experimental environment.
The SPF Animal Technician is responsible for the promotion of animal welfare with respect to animal care and experimentation, participating in and supporting the conduct of research projects and operational procedures that use laboratory animals.
Be committed to the quality care of animals with experience and ability in assisting researchers with the human/animal relationship, providing advice and support. Embrace OHS&E principles and undertake to work within specific regulations.
Applicants are required to have a qualification in laboratory animal care (or in progress with a qualification) and/or relevant and substantial experience in the area of animal care.

The Benefits
Remuneration package: $43,567 - $49,043 pa HEW Level 3 (includes employer superannuation of 9%)
This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
