An established local government organisation is seeking a qualified Facilities Manager to join their reputable regional shire council in Victoria's West. With numerous buildings within their thriving community, this council endeavours to be an employer of choice. If you are looking to further your career and gain valuable experience working within a government role, this may be the role for you. This highly regarded organisation requires an enthusiastic team player who has proven experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Manager. You will be a valued member of a team, focusing on the maintenance of buildings across multiple sites as well as ensuring ????? ????? contracts are managed effectively. You will also have a solid experience in building repairs and maintenance, and managing security and cleaning. To be successful in this role, the above experience is required coupled with effective communication and negotiation skills. A background in carpentry or building will be advantageous, as is experience in programming works utilising Microsoft Office software. Proven experience in managing and maintaining the efficient operation of this shire's €˜built environment' is essential.
