Youth Program - Certificate II in Customer Contact

 



As part of our focus on learning & development UCMS is currently running an 8 day Employment Program assisting motivated and dedicated members of the public to gain the nationally accredited Certificate II in Customer Contact and kick-start their new career (see below for eligibility criteria).

We cover the following:

  • Goal Setting
  • Time Management
  • Basic IT skills (including Microsoft word/Microsoft Excel/E-mail and Internet)
  • Resume writing
  • Interview skills
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Communication skills
  • Dealing with difficult customers including conflict resolution

These skills will assist you in gaining employment across a number of industries including:

  • Retail
  • Customer Service
  • Sales
  • Hospitality

In order to be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be under 20 years of age as of January 1st 2009
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permenant Resident
  • Must not have completed VCE or equivalent or Certificate II or higher qualifications
  • Be available to attend our training course from 9.30am – 3:30pm Mon to Thurs over two consecutive weeks
