Our client requires an experienced project planner to play a pivotal role in major project delivery for one of Victoria's largest strategic water construction schemes. You will have a unique opportunity to prove and enhance your planning and construction scheduling skills for a fixed period of around 12 months.

Reporting directly to the project controls manager you will have responsibility for the development and management of project schedules, finance system (Jobpac) and project management system (Primavera) interface database. This will include creating monthly alliance program status reports.

You must be willing and able to operate as part of a energetic construction team, as you will be maintaning efficient and reliable relationships with the delivery manager and project managers alike.

The client offers a secure workload, where they are commited to developing and maintaining a highly specialised delivery unit, of which you will be a part. The working environment provides stability, substantial technical resources and a large existing workforce that operates from both central Melbourne and the eastern suburbs.

Possessing a relevant tertiary qualification, you will have a strong planning background in major construction projects. Whilst possessing strong interpersonal skills you must be proficient with Primavera and MS office software.
