Bovis Lend Lease is one of the world's leading project management and construction companies, using industry best practices when working with clients to create high quality, sustainable property assets. The company has recently been awarded contracts for Victoria’s Building Education Revolution upgrade of government schools as part of the Commonwealth Government's Nation Building – Economic Stimulus Plan. As part of this programme we will be responsible for the construction of new school facilities to the value of $60M in Melbourne ’s southern region.

We are currently seeking a number of experienced Site Supervisors on Fixed Term Employment contracts of up to 8 months to assist in the delivery of these nation building projects.

 Role: 

The Site Supervisor will assist the Project Manager to oversee all construction and related activities at each school site with a primary focus on EHS compliance, stakeholder management and monitoring construction activity to ensure works are completed in accordance with the design documentation. The Site Supervisor will be allocated a number of school projects to oversee concurrently within a regional area.

Criteria:

Suitable candidates will have demonstrated a track record in co-ordinating and directing contractors, resolving design and construction issues, assistance with detailed design review and monitoring and reporting on construction progress. Exceptional coordination, planning and monitoring skills are required in addition to the ability to manage upward, solve problems and motivate people. Other specific experience and qualities required include:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Supervisor on small to medium sized construction projects such as schools, government buildings, residential or commercial
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental and Community issues in relation to construction
• Demonstrated track record in managing clients, stakeholders and a public interface
