Lend Lease is one of the world’s leading fully integrated property solutions providers.
Our Lend Lease Communities business requires an EHS Manager to service the needs of Lend Lease Primelife (a vehicle owned 43% by the Lend Lease Corporation) and our Retirement by Design business unit.
The position encompasses the management and the implementation of Lend Lease Communities Incident & Injury Free objectives. To assist and train our project teams with respect to occupational health and safety, to assist with the training and skill development of our key contractors. Progressively improve our systems and liaise with other regions and business units to ensure a consistent approach to safety across the Lend Lease Primelife and Lend Lease Communities businesses.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a project management, asset management or construction background that will enable them to take on other responsibilities within the business. It is envisaged that once the EHS systems are established, the EHS role will make up approximately 50%-75% of the individual’s time with the remaining time able to be allocated to other construction or development related responsibilities targeted towards the individual’s broader skill set.
Qualifications and experience
Minimum 5 years construction experience
2 years in OH&S or EH&S
VIC Workplace Health knowledge
Tertiary education
Some flexibility and willingness to be “hands-on” is imperative and some regional and domestic travel will be involved.
