APA(I) PhD Scholarship - Education and Training for Housing-Related Employment in Indigenous Commun
We have an APA(I) Scholarship for a research Masters or PhD study on the topic of Education and Training for Housing-Related Employment in Indigenous Communities.
The scholarship is a part of the ARC Linkage project, More than a Roof Overhead, that is using a systems approach to develop strategies through which investments in housing can maximise improvements in the suitability and cost-effectiveness of housing as well as contribute to non-housing outcomes, such as improvements in family well-being, health, education and economic development, that are associated with improved housing.
The scholarship project will develop innovative strategies to prepare Indigenous people for employment in housing procurement, pre-fabricated/modular construction, house renovation, tenancy management and maintenance in remote communities.
The ARC project is based in the Centre for Design (CfD), RMIT University. CfD promotes sustainability through research, consulting, and capacity building through active dissemination and professional development.
Requirements: This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, Honours 2a or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
