Our client is a construction and services contractor with diverse operations throughout Australia and selected international markets.  They are looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to work on this joint venture where they have been contracted to design and build a major project, which will be the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. 

Using state of the art technology, they will design and construct the project to deliver this new resource on time.

 

Your key responsibilities and competencies will include:

• Review tender documents for scope of works, contract requirements, assess drawings, variations and changes, alternative design options
• Oversee and assist in acquiring ????? ?????
• Visit the site and discuss the proposed methods of work with Construction Managers and others
• Oversee and assist in the preparation, checking or measuring ????? ????? or bills of quantities
• Build an estimate of direct costs and site overhead costs for each tender
• Work with a team

You must have:

• Tertiary qualifications 
• Oil and gas or pipework experience
• Extensive Water treatment experience 
• Between 10 to15 years industry experience
• Excellent communication
• Keen eye for detail
• Local market knowledge

 

Your employment with this Tier One contractor could be on a permanent or contract basis.
