One of the fastest growing segments of construction and engineering ????? ????? to be Rail projects. State and Federal governments are uniting in rail design and feasibility in an effort to construct rail links to outlying residential areas and those seeking rail support - for instance, Mines and Mining communities.

Rail is particularly attractive as a means of transport due to (a) low operating costs, (b) the high level of safety and (c) the fact that the equipment is durable, and as a result governments are seeking to save costs as well as build vital infrastructure for travel and infrastructure support.

The majority of these projects are from CV$50m - $5b+, low risk, long duration and are either greenfields jobs or in a brownfields environment under live conditions, thus quite challenging.
