Opportunities available until January 2010
World Vision is Australia’s largest overseas aid and humanitarian organisation. As well as providing relief in emergency situations, we work on long-term development projects with local communities to address the causes of poverty and help them become self-sufficient. Our mission is to engage Australians in the effort to eliminate poverty and its causes.
We have several opportunities available for volunteers to assist us on several activities leading up to our busy Christmas period. Opportunities are available at both our Mulgrave Warehouse and Burwood office. You will be involved in tasks that include sorting mail and collation of information packs in preparation for our Christmas campaigns.
Ideally you are able to commit to a minimum of one day per week for the next six weeks. However, there is flexibility around this.
Ideally you have:
• Administrative experience
• Attention to detail
• Initiative
• High level of personal and professional integrity
• High energy and passion for our cause
