ASSISTANT MANAGER A position for Assistant Manager has become available in one of the most progressive independent paint outlets in Melbourne and situated in Sunshine. Applicants must have strong retail and trade experience within the paint industry, including colour knowledge and paint sales. Experience with industrial or automotive paints would also be to your advantage. The position primarily involves a high level of customer interaction, coupled with, colour advice and matching, tinting & mixing of paint, stock ordering & receipt. Working in an energetic team environment, applicants must be self motivated, show a sense of urgency, display a willing attitude to learn, have a high standard of work ethic and be able to contribute to a happy work atmosphere. As the position is for an Assistant Manager, problem solving and lateral thinking abilities will need to be highly trained. A flexible approach to work, willingness to assist in all areas of the business and a genuine interest in people is what this role requires to be successful.
