Admissions & General Enquiries Clerk
GENERAL ENQUIRIES / ADMISSIONS CLERK
TWO PART TIME POSITIONS - 5 days per fortnight
(2 year contract)
Two part time positions are available in our busy Health Information Services department for fit and friendly General Enquiries/Admissions Clerks. These are fixed term contracts for two years.
This role involves the retrieval and filing of medical records, pathology filing, attending to admissions/bookings office requests, drug and alcohol services, reception, emergency and outpatient requests, telephone enquiries, mailing and faxing of information.
The successful applicants must be available to work full time when required to cover staff leave, have excellent verbal communication skills, an ability to liaise with staff and consumers at all levels and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Computer and clerical skills are required. Experience in Health Information Services and medical terminology will be an advantage.
