Business Services Senior Accountant. Mid Tier?

Strong technical ability and character is needed to manage 2 grads and 2 intermediates. This includes delegating assignments, tracking them to completion and reviewing it before handing over to the Manager.

A small part of your day-to-day activity will be focused on compliance. The rest will be handling special projects like margin calls and valuations for large property developers. A considerable amount of time will be spent out of the office, meeting and advising your clients on various business ventures.

This Mid Tier has a large focus on work-life balance. This is evident by their people leaving on time – Partners included. Working out of hours is never demanded and they can offer flexible hours. They enjoy a friendly atmosphere with regular after Friday night drinks and regular team lunches.

As well as 4 + years Australian Public Practice experience and a CA or CPA qualification, the Partners also want to see a demonstrated track record in client interaction, including dealing with CEO’s and CFO’s of companies with high turnovers. Having dealt with Property Developers will be a distinct advantage.
