Intermediate to Senior Accountant in Business Services $50K to $60K

Boutique Multi Partner Practice of over 30 staff

Expect to earn between $50K & $60K depending on experience

The Role:

 

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Intermediate/Senior Accountant in the Inner South East of Melbourne.  In this medium sized boutique practice of 30 odd staff, you will be working along side two other accountants whilst reporting directly to both the Manager and the Partner of your team.

 

Working as a Business Services Consultant, you will be responsible for the financial accounts and compliance matters of the team’s clients.  This includes:

 

• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of interim accounts (where required)
• Preparation of income tax returns
• Preparation of BAS and GST compliance
• Providing tax advice
• Tax consulting

 

You will work on a variety of clients of various structures including companies, partnerships and trusts, predominately SME’s but you will also be given exposure to some very large and wealthy groups.  Full training, support and professional development will be made available to you.

 

Necessary Qualifications:

 

In order to be considered for this position, you must have:

 

• Minimum of 2 years local Public Practice experience
• Completed Australian tertiary studies
• Commenced or be eligible and willing to commence either CA or CPA

Salary:

 

Range between $50,000 and $60,000 package will be offered to the right applicant and is dependant on your prior experience and qualifications.
