Payroll Officer

Working within the Corporate HR Services area and reporting to the Visy Payroll Manager, your duties will include:
- Processing payments via Kronos file uploads, time sheet file uploads and manual entries
- Responding to employee and management enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining employee records in accordance with VISY and legislative requirements
- Using the termination modules in Chris 21 and SAP
- Calculating and processing terminations and redundancies in accordance with Visy and legislative requirements
- Calculating pay adjustments in accordance with Visy Policy
As an integral part of the team you will also be asked to:
- Identify process improvement and non value adding activities
- Maintain employee records in accordance with Visy policy and legislative requirements
- Interpret award and site agreements and apply Visy policy as appropriate
The successful candidate will be an energetic, experienced and customer focussed payroll professional with at least 3 years experience in processing full function payroll. You will have excellent communication skills coupled with strong numeric and computer skills. Experience using the SAP Payroll System would be greatly desired.
