Part of a large listed retail group this undisputed employer of choice is seeking an experienced Inventory Accountant to join their collegiate and dedicated team.

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide accounting support, with the production of the financial results for the group, focussing on inventory accounting and ensuring ????? ????? of data and reporting for early detection of risks and opportunities.

More specifically, the role will include:

• Month end calculations regarding inventory valuations
• Analysis and accounting for obsolete stock and shrinkage
• Preparation of calculations and processing of monthly accruals for various expense accounts
• Monthly preparation and an understanding of inventory balance sheet account reconciliations
• Preparation of inventory related financial reports
• Administration of bi-annual stock takes as well as leading inventory related projects across the business as required.

You would need to be CA/CPA qualified, and experience with SAP is highly advantageous.
