Accounts Assistant

  • A perfect opportunity has arisen for a skilled Accounts Assistant that enjoys variety. This position is to cover maternity leave however and may lead to a permanent role.

    The duties include:

    Processing of accounts receivable
    Bank reconciliations
    Payroll processing (employees and contractors)
    Assist in maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
    Month end processing
    General ledger reconciliation

    Experience required:

    Strong reconciliation skills
    Attention to detail
    Proactive, highly motivated and customer service focused
    Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
    Willingness to undertake tasks within the full spectrum of duties, both routine and ad-hoc
    Good Excel and Word communication skills
    Formal qualifications would be a great advantage
    Attaché knowledge is preferred but not mandatory

    Salary guide: $50,000 - $55,000 + super
