We are seeking a professional Project Manager with sound knowledge of Lean Sigma and Process Improvement methodologies and a proven track record in the successful completion and delivery of projects to drive continuous improvement across the whole organization.
Reporting to the Region Vice President and Managing Director, you will be responsible to lead and implement process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience and to improve financial performance whilst leading a culture that inspires employees to drive continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be passionate about business improvement and customer service with the ability to focus on process improvement and operational efficiency across a diverse and dynamic business.
This role requires:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively function in a supportive/consultative role.
- Ability to diagnose organizational problems and to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
- Six Sigma exposure/training, with Black/Green belt certification preferred, familiarity with the “Toyota Way” and a proven track record in successfully leading process improvement initiatives that create higher levels of operational efficiency.
- Skills and experience to facilitate, mentor and train individuals and teams and to drive the use of improvement tools and techniques (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Strategy Deployment, Kanban, etc.) through the facilitation of kaizen events, training sessions and direct project support.
- Demonstrated project management experience and skills.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and facilitation skills, both oral and written and the ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional global environment, interacting effectively with different stakeholder groups and multiple cultures.
