My client is a well known and highly recognised supplier of printers/copiers, related software, applications and services. They currently seek a self motivated & career focused individual that is passionate and committed to establishing their career as a Service Engineer while completing a Cert 2 Electro Technology Traineeship on the job. This traineeship placement is located in Melbourne CBD and the successful applicant will be required to attend service calls at other sites around the CBD while receiving training, development and on going support from qualified and highly trained professionals within the industry.
Duties will include:
- Be trained to carry out field service work activities including hardware, operating system software, digital front end maintenance and set up
- mCommunicate consistently with the team keeping informed of customer problems and opportunities
- Record and report required information
- Maintain tools, laptop, stockroom, service manuals as required
- Contribute positively to maintaining customer satisfaction at all times
- Willingness to be flexible
Key selection criteria:
- Customer service experience
- Ability and willingness to develop the required technical competence required necessary for promotion of digital products, colour production
- Very good communication skills
- Professional and immaculate presentation
- A strong interest in all things Electronic and Technical
- Any basic electro technology exposure, experience or training will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated interest and passionate about started a career in Service Engineering / Electro Technology
