Sales Manager - Mechanical Engineering Product - Oil & Gas Sector - $80-90k Base

The client is a Global leader within the compressed air market. They currently seek a Branch Manager / Sales Manager to build and grow market share within the Rental area but to concentrate within the Oil & Gas Sector

The Role

• The role with be a dual selling and man management role - Man Management experience is ideal.
• You will grow, build and maintain relationships within the Oil & Gas Sector. This is a key area of growth for the business
• You will recruit and build the current sales team - In turn mentor and sustain the growth
• We are looking for the new manager to grow the business - This is not an account management role - We have named accounts but the goal is to grow the business
• Working closely with a supportive GM, the role is extremely autonomous in nature.

FULL TECHNICAL TRAINING IS PROVIDED

The Requirements

• We are looking for a Sales Manager / Branch Manager who is a just as much a BDM as he is a man manager.
• If you are currently working for a large player in PUMPS, PNEUMATICS & HYDRAULICS, BEARINGS or CAPITAL EQUIPMENT, MATERIAL HANDLING, COMPRESSORS we are interested in hearing from you.
• Dealing with the Oil & Gas Sector is extremely desirable
• Someone who is capable of working autonomously
• You will need to be able to talk to service techs, production managers and CEO's or CFO's - Contracts can range from $50,000 to $500,000.
• Someone who has worked as a part of a team and understands that the client's repeat business is more important than a sale
