Senior Pre Sales / BDM - Data Protection Software - 12 month fixed term hire

The key focus of this role is to plan, direct and coordinate sales activities for the promotion of Data Protection software in the ANZ region. You will be responsible and accountable for this business unit in territory and responsible for achieving assigned revenue and account development targets . Specific tasks will include developing and implementing strategic sales campaigns and programs that align this product within the greater solution portfolio into medium and enterprise customers. You will personally support direct sales teams and channel by meeting with key opportunities to conduct presentations, demonstrations, initial requirements gathering etc.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 5 years experience in data protection software distribution, implementation and support. As indicated a candidate with a strong pre sales background would be looked upon favourably but candidates with pure BDM experience within the Data Protection software space are also naturally welcomed. It is expected you have strong storage experience perhaps having worked for the likes of EMC, IBM, Symantec, Data Direct Networks.

In addition to the above it is preferred that you are university educated and possess first rate communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills. This is an ANZ role so travel will be involved in the role.
