Our client is a serious manufacturer, developer and supplier of a quality range of valves, actuators and instrumentation into the water, Mineral Processing, Petro Chemical, Power Generation and Pulp and Paper markets. Due to internal promotions and rapid growth they are now looking to fill the position of Senior Sales/ Application Engineer reporting directly to the state manager. You will need to be relationship focused with a proactive approach to drive revenue from existing accounts and all aspects of assisting clients with new orders, requirements and responding to tenders.
Your role will be predominately account and project management while also identifying new business opportunities within the industry.
Youll provide technical expertise to assist other sales staff and Customers in the solution of technical and application problems and the preparation of quotations for Clients.
Utilise Company provided application software to engineer, size and select suitable product to most eloquently satisfy the needs of the client/ marketplace using best engineering ????? ????? practices. Contract and Project Management of duly allocated contracts awarded to the Company, as directed.
To liaise and involve in the sales process, where necessary, the allocated Company appointed Product Managers/ Management to facilitate excellent conversion potentials for all products in both the daily type Maintenance Reliability Operations and Project Sale arenas.
Preferred applicants will have a sound knowledge of Valves, Gauges, Switches, Sensors and Controllers.
As you will be nurturing ????? ????? current accounts for our client you will need to have a proven track record with a minimum of several years experience in the sales of a technical/ mechanical valves solutions. You will need to be highly motivated and driven as this role is very demanding. Chemical or Mechanical Formal qualifications and experience in this industry will be absolutely necessary.
