Our national client are a local manufacturer of high end commercial furniture and interior products and have been established for well over 50 years. They employ approx 150 people in Australia and are in a strong position in the marketplace hence this exciting new Melbourne based role.
The role will see you maintaining and developing new relationships with a broad range of clients including builders, developers, architects, designers and various commercial end users. Using your eye for design and well honed creative skills you will be required to sell and specify high end interior and furniture products direct to clients but also through specification with the architects and designers. Projects covered are diverse but a large proportion are high end commercial office fit outs in addition to hospitality, Government, education and retail.
To get to interview stage you will have the following skills to present;
- High end commercial interiors / furniture sales experience
- Proven track record in sales or account management in a related field.
- Ideally some experience of selling workstations or office furniture.
- Well developed relationship building capabilities.
- Thirst for on going training and development.
- Upbeat, friendly outgoing nature and personality.
- High attention to detail and creative flair.
- Some experience of working with or selling to architects or designers.
In return we can offer a negotiable base salary based on previous experience (up to $60k) , $15k car allowance, phone + laptop and an uncapped commission structure. Interviews to take place week commencing Monday 26th September.
