Intranet and Communications Specialist

    Sitting within group internal communications, the intranet communications specialist will have responsibility for the following:

    • Developing and delivering ????? ????? communications strategy, to support the evolution of the tool;
    • Develop, implement and socialise a regular, respected and reliable intranet reporting model;
    • Manage company-wide intranet communications in a complex, fast paced environment;
    • Manage the coordination and implementation of intranet projects from the business and communications perspective;
    • Manage stakeholders to integrate legacy intranet systems to the new intranet platform;
    • Engage and support the growing community of intranet publishers, within the organisation’s decentralised content management model, to ensure that content is consistent, useable and high quality;
    • Encourage employee engagement using the intranet channel.

    Furthermore, your role will be to build relationships with internal stakeholders and support the organisation and various business units’ direction and priorities. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be a driver for your success in this role.

    To be successful you will be a well-experienced intranet specialist with outstanding communication skills and a passion for both corporate affairs and internal communications. Your previous experience in a corporate communications or intranet communications role will be necessary to take advantage of this opportunity, as will be a working knowledge of content management systems, graphics and design. You have strong writing skills along with an ability to work autonomously and proactively update your communications colleagues on items of significance. You will also possess strong time management and project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities. Additionally, you will need to be energetic, calm, responsive, positive and not easily fazed by challenges. A tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline is required to undertake this challenging and exciting role.
