Due to internal changes an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Communications Adviser to manage the sustainability and community relations disciplines.
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager you will be responsible for the development of the sustainability report, management of corporate giving, sponsorship and philanthropic strategies for the business including budget tracking as well as participation in volunteering ????? ????? wide sustainability activities. Additionally you will develop the community relations strategies and consultation programs, develop public awareness campaigns and pro-active media opportunities to raise awareness when needed. Essential to your success is your broader issues management and communication skills including reputation management.
Successful candidates will be experienced communications practitioners with proven experience in community relations and / or sustainability. Ideally you will have previous experience working in large corporate organisations and essential is your well developed stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities. Candidates with a strong interest in sustainability and philanthropic activities for organisations will be highly regarded.
