Salary $80K package

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join this large progressive and forward thinking organisation based on St Kilda Road.  

Your responsibilities include: 

• Vendor management including tender and contract negotiations
• Managing the procurement process across various sectors of the business including IT
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Manage the services levels and performance of contractors
• A key focus will be to facilitate procurement processes and the management of contracts in line with the Corporation policy
• Identify opportunities to increase value through vendors, either through improved services, processes or cost savings
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure the organisation is receiving competitive pricing and preparing ????? ?????
• Co-ordinating various budget processes and providing analysis on expenditure with the aim of reducing costs
• Assisting in preparing ????? ????? reports on vendor performance against contracts
• Managing, coaching and motivating a small team 

You will have proven experience in a procurement environment and be able to demonstrate knowledge of best practice procurement.   

 

This role will suit person with strong analytical skills, a flair for negotiation, contract management and supplier engagement.

 

You will be someone with strong leadership skills who will provide coaching, mentoring ????? ????? opportunities for your team.

  

Salary: $80,000 including superannuation

 

Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
