Finance Sector Litigation - Junior to mid level solicitor role - Leading team

  • Our client is a leading Melbourne firm with a strong corporate client base that includes leading entities in the Australasian banking and finance sector.  Their disputes team is headed by first class partners and their contacts in the industry bolstered greatly by their strong front end banking and finance group.

    An opportunity exists for a circa 2 - 3 year PQE disputes lawyer with strong experience in, or at least a genuine interest in, high level recoveries.  You will be seeking a role that affords a high level of client contact, as well as hands on exposure to running files.  You should have experience in litigation related drafting, appearances at directions hearings and callovers, trial preparation, briefing Counsel and drafting and negotiating deeds of settlement. 

    This role sits in a great team and works closely with a friendly partner who has shown, time and again, a willingness to spend time developing junior lawyers.  The successful applicant will work in a busy environment for a firm that recognises the need for interests outside of work.  This is a firm that promotes on merit and remunerates competitively, in line with your skills and ability.
