Our client is a premier Melbourne firm with a strong commercial & disputes practice. It seeks a senior lawyer with strong employment/IR skills for a senior employment role.
Reporting to the disputes partners, this role will appeal to a senior employment/IR lawyer who can run matters autonomously and deal directly with the firm's employment clients.
The role is suitable to a senior IR/ER lawyer from at least senior associate upwards, and there is work on tap ready to be taken up, with scope depending on the incoming lawyer to commence as a partner. The firm offers real career paths and in this case there is a path to equity partnership for a lawyer who wants to work with the firm to grow its clients in the area over time.
The firm offers strong support services, including marketing, and has a model within which individual practices are built around senior practitioners, so it will support and encourage the development of the lawyer successful in obtaining the role.
