Senior Lawyer - Workplace Relations and Safety

    Due to continued success an exciting opportunity for a senior employment and industrial relations lawyer has become available within their Melbourne Workplace Relations and Safety group for a Senior Associate.
     
    Working closely with both private and public clients advising on a broad range of employment and industrial matters including:
     
    • advising on compliance with federal and state industrial relations legislation
    • negotiating, facilitating and drafting workplace agreements
    • representing clients in all industrial commissions, tribunals and courts, including on unfair dismissal claims
    • assisting employers to effectively manage workplace change and restructuring
    • interpreting, drafting and negotiating employment and contractor agreements
    • drafting and assisting employers with implementation of company policies and procedures
    • preparing and enforcing confidentiality agreements and restraints of trade
    • provding advice on preservation of confidential information and intellectual property
    • advising on performance management, disciplinary and termination processes
    The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years across all areas of employment law including industrial relations, workplace agreements, termination of employment, employment contracts, anti-discrimination and occupational health and safety within private practice.
