This high profile organisation is currently undertaking the implementation and integration of a sophisticated, purpose-built aviation systems technology suite. The Systems Support Engineer will be responsible for facilitating the successful project implementation of the new Windows based system, working closely with the vendor to manage bug-fixing and troubleshooting and provide ongoing systems/software engineering ????? ????? areas of applications support, integration and data engineering.
Operating from a Melbourne base, the Systems Support Engineer will act as the information conduit between various internal contacts (including business contacts and project delivery resources) and external stakeholders (including technology vendors, aviation regulators and telco carriers). You will additionally be responsible for delivering ????? ????? on time and to strict standards as well as contributing the improvement of systems engineering, validation and verification and integration capability.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree qualifications in IT, engineering ????? ?????/or equivalent commercial experience
- Experience with complex ICT systems
- Strong experience within MS Windows environments
- Diverse hardware and software exposure
- Software configuration and integration experience
- Strong troubleshooting, fault finding skills
- Demonstrable testing and validation experience
- Internal and external stakeholder liaison skills
- Full project lifecycle exposure
- Autonomous worker
- Strong communication skills
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Desirable Criteria:
- Aviation industry background
- Real time safety related systems experience
