Do you have a strong background in Windows, Unix administration and capacity planning? Are you looking for a challenging role with a market leader? Do you have extensive experience other flavours of server technology and a passion for technology? If yes, read on. Working within a large IT&T company, this vendor requires an ITIL savvy Windows and Unix solutions designer with a strong background in capacity planning, solution design and systems enhancement. Responsible for the service delivery, administration and maintenance of the server fleet, you will act as a technical lead for junior staff and take a proactive approach to performance management. In this client facing position, your role will involve disaster recovery, implementation and incident management, and you will work closely with the BA team to turn requirements into technical specifications. Solid capacity planning and performance tuning experience is essential in this role, as are excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. ITSM knowledge is also essential.
