Network/Systems Engineer - Melbourne - $60,000 - $80,000 package

 

Strong Windows 2003 & Exchange 2003 experience essential

My Client is an Australian owned IT Service Provider that can boast an enviable client base consisting of some of Australia's most well known companies. Due to sustained growth my client requires a Network Engineer to join the Network Services arm of the business.

You will provide support, maintain and monitor customer networks (data, voice & server) troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise. You will be supported by more senior engineers who will deal with escalated problems and also coach and mentor the Network Engineers. 

In terms of experience you will have at least 2 years working in a similar role or environment (preferably with a IT Service Provider) and possess administration and implementation experience in the following technologies. 

• Windows 2000/2003
•  Exchange 2000/2003
• Microsoft SBS implementation experience
• Active Directory
• Router and Firewall configuration
• SAN/NAS

Any experience of CommVault, Netbackup or Legato will be highly regarded but not essential as my client is renowned for training and developing their staff. I am also looking for someone who is extremely customer focused, can present and is a natural problem solver.
