We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to support the Telstra Consumer Working Smarter Program. The role will involve working in conjunction with Project Managers to identify commercial opportunities within the business via data analysis and supporting recommendations.
 
Role Accountabilities

• Performance of data analysis that will require:

 

• Providing recommendations into the feasibility of new initiatives/programs through data retrieval and analysis.  
• The Identification of additional opportunities within existing Working Smarter programs.
• Development of robust financial models to elicit the financial benefit.
• Creation of statistical analysis and diagnosis of data to identify trends and opportunities

 

• Summarise results of research and present findings to Working Smarter Program stakeholders.
• Develop robust processes for data analysis to support the projects that are managed within the overall Working Smarter team.
• Assist in driving alignment with Program and Project Teams to deliver information to highlight benefit and obtain Finance endorsement/recognition.

Role Capabilities

• Proven ability to identify commercial business opportunities and develop supporting data analysis
• High level of motivation creativity and initiative, together with a commitment to achieve operational excellence
• Problem solving and structured analysis skills
• Systems analysis and design skills with knowledge of internal systems such as Cognos, TM1
• Knowledge of SQL, and advance skills in Excel, and Access
• Excellent communication skills including preparation of presentation packs for senior management.
• Strong teamwork and experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work to short deadline with minimal guidance
