You will be a senior technology/ Forecaster specialist. With a strong background in financial accounting from forecasting of data aligned to the budget and presenting the forecast models to senior executives. You will be required to forecast 18months to 3 years out the infrastructure that will be required and the operating systems that will be needed.
This is a demanding multi facetted role with the successful candidate having a proven ability in Capacity Planning, IT, Business Intelligence and Financial experience. This position has an extremely strong lean towards analysis and solid numeric skill set.
You will be expected to provide high level analysis, advice and support for the technology planning function, developing appropriate models and frame works for the forecasting of future IT infrastructure requirements including associated budgetary and financial impacts. You will provide analysis around trends, identifying potential trouble spots and developing solutions and recommendations on ways to move forward.
To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:
- Proven ability to develop forecasting and analytical models
- Determine financial and budgetary impacts of new IT technology and trends including technology road maps, strategic, plans and major IT initiatives
- Develop appropriate models and frame works for forecasting of future infrastructure requirements
- Liaise with Vendors & Outsourced suppliers to forecast future technologies
- Undertake analysis for storage, server and network domains identifying financial impacts of IT
