The focus of this role is to provide support to the development team as well as contributing to my clients Configuration Management strategy. Keys responsibilities will include the following;

• Perform ITIL Configuration Management tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Coordinate Configuration team analyst resources for Project streams
• Maintain the configuration register
• Maintain relevant Configuration Management documentation
• Monitor configurable items to ensure version history is being maintained
• Report to the Configuration Manager on any changes that are not being version controlled
• Perform code merges
• Perform software builds
• Perform release publication

These are just a few of the key responsibilities that will be involved in the job scope.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have the following skills and experiences:

• Understanding of distributed Java environments
• Code Management, source code repository knowledge
• Automated build tools (Cruise Control), Software Development experience
• Time management
• Excellent communications ability both written and verbal.
• Autonomous and able to work in a team environment where necessary
