An exciting opportunity is available in our corporate team for an individual experienced in areas of Risk, Quality and Safety.
The Manager, Risk, Quality & Safety is responsible for management of the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation’s risk, quality & safety management systems and risk awareness culture in order to maintain high operational and safety standards, performance and compliance.
 

You will liaise closely with the department managers and their teams, assisting them in enhancing their knowledge of risk, quality and safety management systems and developing their processes and their documentation.
 

You will be responsible for the quality program and lead the internal audit function to ensure that compliance with process and regulation is maintained through audit and surveillance, the identification of non conformance and the provision of assistance to audit clients in the development of corrective action and strategies as well as progressive improvement.
 

To be successful in this role you will be formally qualified in Risk, Safety or Quality Management and possess experience in maintaining integrated management systems against relevant standards. Previous exposure to all levels in the organisation, including senior management and Board level, will be beneficial. Exposure to contract administration of quality and safety in contractors will also be beneficial.
 

Excellent communication, relationship building, influencing, and documentation skills are a must as you will be required to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and foster  continuous improvement of risk, quality and safety as well as report outcomes to senior management and the Board.
 

This position is ideally suited to someone who can work at both strategic and tactical levels. This is a hands on role with limited resources. You must be a self starter, motivated and work effectively focusing on the tasks at hand. Your ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team will ensure you get the best out of this opportunity.
