Ozford is an international College located in three locations in the Melbourne CBD. Ozford offers High School, Business College and the English Language Centre to a diverse group of students.
Ozford is seeking a Course Coordinator for its Hospitality courses. The Course Coordinator Hospitality Management will be responsible for coordinating the administration and curriculum development for classes and looking after new teachers and emergency teachers as needed.
SPECIFIC DUTIES will include :
- Demonstrating effective teaching practices;
- Teaching of timetabled classes;
- Setting and assessment of regular homework;
- Assessment of student work on a regular basis;
- Detailed planning of assessment tasks, including marking schemes;
- Reporting student results. This includes communication with the Head of V.E.T. on a needs basis for monitoring of student progress;
- Delivery of current curriculum according to V.E.T. Training Package in course area;
- Monitoring student academic performance closely and make recommendations to the Head of V.E.T;
- Implement strategies to motivate student learning;
- Delivery of current curriculum according to V.E.T. Training Package in course area;
- On-going development of curriculum in course area, including provision of detailed curriculum outlines for course area;
- Implementing and self managing curriculum review on a regular or as instructed by the Head of V.E.T.;
- Manage multiple kitchens.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management is required;
- Demonstrated relevant industry experience.
