This highly prestigious client is a well respected and highly innovative medical company that develops, manufactures and supplies highly advanced and specialised devices to the World. To support their continuing growth they now seek the services of a dedicated sales professional to join the ENDOSCOPY and SURGICAL Team.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is responsible for promoting Endo-surgery products and equipment as well as minimal invasive procedure and dynamics of the Endoscopic Suite. You will deliver a proactive sales approach with continuous liason to Nurse Unit Managers, Theatre staff and CSSD Units, providing expertise along the way. Your technical aptitude and assimilation of clinical data will ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic plan to investigate new business opportunities
- Establish and develop cohesive relationships with Key Specialists in Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, ENT, Urology, and General Surgery
- Advise on the equipment and instrumentation, providing support for surgical procedures
- Analyse sales reports to monitor monthly activity
- Conduct workshop demonstrations for groups of surgeons or theatre staff
Required Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification - Business, Applied Science, Paramedical or Engineering ????? ?????
- Previous sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry necessary (theatre-based experience is highly regarded)
- High measure of drive, energy and engagement
- Proficient ability to absorb and impart technical information in a clinical setting
- Sound measure of maturity, professionalism and leadership.
- An ability to work well under pressure in the operating theatre to ensure positive outcomes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong planning, problem solving and selling skills
