An exciting new opportunity has emerged for a Business and Compliance Officer to work with our Investment Advisory and Superannuation teams.

Your role will focus on;

• Assisting the Director in the co-ordination of the investment advisory and superannuation groups' systems needs, including selecting, implementing and developing appropriate systems to improve efficiency;

• To assist in the day-to-day aspects of the groups' businesses and operations including budgeting, billing, workflow, resourcing, communications, etc;

• Provide timely and accurate financial and managerial reports to partners and the Investment Committee within the firm;

• Developing existing processes, policies and procedures to enable the business to operate effectively;

• Assisting with developing, implementing and monitoring ????? ?????, risk management controls and reports for ongoing compliance across the groups;

• Internal and external file reviews to monitor compliance and risk with the applicable legislation (including Financial Services Reform, Anti-Money Laundering, Privacy), AFS licence conditions, internal policies and established procedures.

The successful candidate is expected to have experience in the financial services industry, ideally in a superannuation, financial planning or investment environment with a relevant tertiary qualification. You will have a flair for working with technology and be IT savvy.

You will demonstrate attention to detail, an ability to learn quickly and excellent time management skills. You will have the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and develop rapport with clients and staff alike. You will have demonstrated exceptional teamwork skills while working in a team environment.
