With a large foothold in the international Institutional market, our client is seeking to add further value to its burgeoning business by adding to it's team an experienced Treasury FX Officer during this period of internal growth.
The role will be one of a diverse nature with the direct incumbent having to add value across the board. The daily duties to be undertaken will include:
- Settlements processing to include all RTGS/CLS administration, plus booking internal deals and matching confirmations
- Processing of Inter-bank foreign exchange transactions in all currencies
- Reconciliation of Inter-bank accounts for all currencies to ensure their accurate and timely settlement
- Monitoring ????? ????? inward and outward fund movements
- Coordinating with other banks for the confirmation of foreign exchange contracts and at their maturity, their payment
- Co-ordinating with the Front Office for settlement of discrepancies
- Manage Global Settlement of Exchange contracts through CLS
- Reconcile all accounts to an accurate level plus investigate any failed differences.
This role will suit an experienced back office operations candidate who has developed strong analysis skills over a period of at least 3 years operational exposure from a Treasury, Broking or Custody perspective. Additionally they will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field with a working knowledge of all back office operations.
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, have the ability to manage and prioritis work and juggle tasks without neglecting conflicting demands, and possess strong communication skills. Favourable to the role will be prior exposure to FX/MM, Debt Securities and the settlements process.
