Our client is a leading international engineering consultancy.  Due to increasing demand there is a new vacancy for an experienced materials engineer.  The engineer will support the other departments of this multi disciplinary consultancy and, in particular, collaborate with the asset management team to provide clients with economically viable and realistic maintenance and upgrade programs.  In addition to leveraging off existing clients the materials team also works with its own unique client base of both private and public clients.

The materials team provides a highly technical consultancy service which includes such projects as;

• Surveys of existing facilities including condition/structural assessments, corrosion audits, and remediation design, specification and contract management
• Durability assessment, materials and protective coatings specification and the development of corrosion protection/enhanced durability strategies for civil infrastructure projects
• Buildings, Construction, Façade and Concrete technology
• Reinforced concrete, steel and timber structure durability, corrosion investigation and remediation projects.  

The successful engineer will have more than 5 years post graduate experience in materials.  They will also require excellent written and spoken skills which are essential to the consultancy industry.  In return for their expertise the engineer will work with a tight knit team of experts who enjoy a wide variety of work.  For more information please contact
