An experienced Project Manager is required to add strength to a well established civil contractor based in the northern suburbs. This contractor has been operating for over 30 years and has developed a stronghold on the Victorian subdivision sector. Strong growth through the early 90’s provided this company with an opportunity to capitalise on the success they had gained in the subdivision sector and expand operations into the Roads, Pipelines and Tunnelling sectors. Now in 2009 they have projects in Vic, SA and Qld, a labour force of 200 have worked on some of Australia’s largest and most challenging infrastructure projects.

The role:

Due to this growth an opportunity now exists for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and grow the business. This position will require you to work closely with Construction Managers, Engineers and Work Supervisors on projects throughout the Subdivision and Road sectors.

You:

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified and have at least 3 years industry experience within the civil sector. Experience using MS Project or Primavera will be advantageous. In addition to your technical expertise you will have exceptional communication skills, a down to earth personality and a great sense of humour.
